Organization of service provision:

- therapy provided 6 days a week in morning and afternoon cycles, an average of 5 treatments per day for each beneficiary.

Conditions for admission to the inpatient rehabilitation department:

- referral for pulmonary rehabilitation is issued by a physician of the following departments:

• Pulmonology,
• Tuberculosis and lung diseases,
• Thoracic surgery,
• Cardiology,
• Internal diseases,
• Allergology,
• Oncology.

- referral for pulmonary rehabilitation is also issued by a physician of a clinic with a signed NFZ contract:

• Tuberculosis and lung diseases,
• Rehabilitation,
• Allergology,
• Thoracic surgery.

Medical documentation confirming the diagnosis and results of basic tests should be attached to the referral.

Admissions to the department are scheduled - after prior arrangement of the date based on the queue of waiting patients.

Duration of rehabilitation:

The duration of pulmonary rehabilitation for one beneficiary is up to 3 weeks. In cases justified by medical reasons and the necessity of achieving the therapeutic goal, the rehabilitation period may be extended by the attending physician's decision, with the written consent of the director of the appropriate regional branch of the National Health Fund.
